What is the difference between Share market and stock market?

Shares are ownership rights in a specific company, whereas stocks give you a stake in more than one company. Also, shares provide you dividend in the form of profit, whereas, in stocks you get a fixed profit. Shares are issued in certain paise or in full amount.

Stock market is a market where shares of different companies are bought and sold. It is like any other normal market where people go to buy and sell shares.

We can buy and sell shares only with the help of trading account. That's why the first rule of the stock market says that you should choose a right stockbroker. The right broker means that you should open your demat account with a broker who is reputed in the market and registered by SEBI.
